TV/Cable Troubleshooting:

The Spectrum remote will control the volume, channels and cable functions. For Samsung-specific actions, like streaming, use the Samsung remote.

Problem:	Solution:
TV turns on, but the screen is blank or it says "Check Device Power"	Make sure the Spectrum cable box is on. Press the power button in the upper-left corner of the cable box.

Cable box turns off, but TV won't turn off	Use the TV-power button on the Spectrum remote, or use the Samsung remote to turn the TV off.

Picture displays, but TV has no sound.	Check TV volume setting. If OK, restart the cable box: unplug the power to the cable box for 60 secconds, and plug it back in.

Pairing Your BT Device to
the JBL Stereo Speakers

The JBL Horizon FM/Bluetooth stereo can play your favorite songs or other audio content from your Bluetooth device. Here's how:

1) Make your device "discoverable" - in other words, turn your device's Bluetooth on. Consult your device's documentation if you don't know how to do this.

2) Power up the JBL Horizon stereo

3) Press and hold the JBL's 'Bluetooth' button for 2 seconds. The JBL stereo will beep indicating it's ready to "pair" with your device.

4) To connect, check your device and select
'JBL Horizon' from the menu of available devices.
If prompted for a passcode, enter '1234' on your device's keypad.

5) The JBL Stereo will beep twice when it's connected to a device.

When your device and the JBL are "paired," they'll reconnect automatically as long as 1) your device's Bluetooth is enabled and 2) the JBL is in Bluetooth mode.

Ventilation

Residents and seasoned Hawaii travelers know to always allow the trade winds to flow through their residence for maximum comfort on warm nights.
Just open the jalousie (louvered) windows in the living room and open the bedroom windows; the trade winds will keep the unit nice and comfortable.
For your safety, always close and lock the sliding glass door and the front door overnight and whenever you leave the condo.

The Dishwasher

Load the soap, and press the Start button on top of the dishwasher door to start the dishwasher.
The 'Dry Boost' and 'Wash Temp' Boost aren't necessary - they just run up our electric bill. TIA for helping us keep it affordable.

Water Filtration

Now, you can safely fill your favorite glasses and water bottles from the tap. Our condo features a Halo 3, three-stage water filtration and conditioning system that provides delicious filtered water to the faucets, shower and refrigerator. The result is water that's good for you, your hair and your skin!
The most difficult part is getting used to drinking from the tap, again!
